Sharing Your Wisdom Globally

May 19th, 2010

I have been struggling for 4 years to identify the people I most want to serve and what I am best at providing for them.

Today, my friend Eben Pagan has finally come across with a FREE online course to help me get to a niche that feels right and sounds congruent when I speak to people!!

I met Eben Pagan personally and he even participated in a 90 minute version of my Freedom to Ask workshop at the Bryan Franklin coaching retreat in Northern CA recently! I can tell you with certainty that he is a man who is congruent and genuinely cares about helping us get the word out that life can be pleasurable and fun!!

If you are an evolutionary, people are starving for your invitation and guidance to a juicier life:)  Are you ready to share your wisdom??!!

If you have been challenged in finding your niche, I invite you to listen to Eben Pagan and do the exercises he is offering FREE to become focused and fearless in getting YOUR vibration out there to the online global village:)

If you’d like the best free education you can possibly get on how to target a  highly-profitable “Information Product,” Advice and Coaching niches online, then go watch this video (just opt in to watch it - nothing to buy):

You’ll also get a powerful set of exercises to download and use to target your niche for free.

My Amazing Life

December 29th, 2009

The time has come to share my daily reality in service of the greater good. I am 62 and I live in a residential hotel in midtown San Francisco.  I am content.  I have several hundred community friends who have all been pursuing the path of living a deliberately designed, spiritually oriented and sensual life filled with celebration, dance and genuine communication.  Many of us are facilitators of transformational courses.  Others are artists, computer professionals, insurance agents and many are holistic healers.  I have an abundance of invitations to gatherings for birthdays, holidays, monthly full moon and new moon rituals, Burningman, etc.

I often attend introductory transformationasl and personal growth events my friends are facilitating in order to support them and also to meet new friends and colleagues in the transformational community.

I also spend time on our private community chat lists and Facebook being a personal witness and champion of their brilliance.  I see them as my spiritual children.  Many of us viewed the new movie, “Avatar” and were moved and inspired to continue our individual and collective practice of collaborative, spiritually informed and courageous living.

Here at the Granada Hotel, I live in another kind of community.  There are about 150 residents from all manner of backgrounds, ethnicities, gender preferences, age groups and socio-economic status.  They also span the range of sanity.  Many are on mood altering meds or challenged by senility.

Although this is an un-assisted living facility, there are people on canes and walkers and some have private nurses and take all their meals in their rooms.

Because I am on the night shift from midnight to 4A 3 nights a week and 2:30A-5 the 4th night, I usually am free to email and Facebook on my laptop and it is generally calm.   However, sometimes I am called into service as security, calling 911 and acting as house liason with the paramedics, fire department and police.  The other night, I got to “talk down” a 50 something muscular vet off his meds who was restraining and choking a frail gay man in his late 70’s.  I do my best each day to see and focus on the spirit that dwells in each of us in every person and to abstain from judgment and gossip.  This is a challenging place to take the high ground.

Transparency - Upping the Ante on 25 Things

February 5th, 2009

There is a Facebook invitation going around called, “Tag, You’re It”, tagging folks and asking/challenging them to disclose “25 Things” about themselves in order to get to know our acquaintances at a deeper, more genuine level.   The invitation is to answer the person who sent the request and also share with 25 other friends and tag them:)

After I wrote my list and sent it to the 2 friends who had tagged me, I began to hesitate about sending it to other friends and engaging them in the game.  I noticed all the “reasons” for not putting my “stories” about myself out there in cyberspace.  I was considering possible damage to my credibility and professional reputation.  I was concerned that it might affect my brother in some unforseen way.  I was concerned that people would see me as a “chain letter” bimbo.

Then I realized that all these concerns are what keep most people from connecting deeply with people in their lives.  People with children are also concerned that their choices and challenges will affect their children’s possibilities in the future.  Our culture is sooooo judgmental of our elected officials and their families.

Ok…  Now with all this preface….I am choosing to be trasparent, share my list of things people may not know about me…. and hopefully open the field for more people to be vulnerable and make it safer for all of us to be genuine with each other.

Also, by only sending the link to this post, I will be giving my 25 folks the option to click on the link or delete…without putting the list in their virtual face:)

My 25 things below…  Tag, You’re It!

Here is more than you asked for:)  I am an aging teen who is apparently beginning to write her autobiography,  memoirs….. or at least her eulogy:)

1. I am a Stevia addict.  I mainline all day with Stevia, lemon juice, pure ginger juice and a bit of cayenne and Pau d’Arco tincture in my water bottle.
2. I still flirt with my first college lover by email…and his wife is ok with this. At 61, I still occasionally go to “play parties” with people in my age group.
3. I have Asperger’s syndrome which affords me some advantages and some challenges in life… the most notable is emotional disconnection.  It is described as highly functioning autism.
4. Due to eyesight and reflex challenges, I have never had a driver’s license, even though I had @ 10 permits and failed the test repeatedly.
5. I have the ability to see relative radiance in peoples’ field….but no auras.
6. I often say something to a group of people that everyone thinks is weird.  Then someone else says exactly the same thing in exactly the same words about 5-10 minutes later in the meeting and everyone thinks it is brilliant.  I think it is an “Aspie” thing.
7. I have been engaged 4 times, married and divorced twice.  I was matched up with my first husband by my spiritual teacher, Yogi Bhajan.
8. I was raped when I was 21, had an abortion when I was 40 and have no children.
9. I love promoting new or unsung leaders that I feel will benefit many people.
10. I love noticing similarities in people, situations, tunes, conversations and images, which made me a great recruiter, averaging 50% of in-person interviewees getting the position.  I am also a great employment package negotiator.
11. I grew up in Glens Falls New York and I won a NYS Regents scholarship in my senior year of high school.
12. I graduated from NYU.; I have a certificate in Teaching English as a 2nd language; I have a certificate in Image Consulting and Personal Shopping and …I graduated a course as a Holistic Health Practitioner which taught me re-birthing, flower essences, emotional release work, fluid walking, how to use a pendulum and many other natural healing modalities.
13. I once saved 9 other cross-country skiers in a blizzard in Monarch Pass, Colorado . On my first camping trip, I was the one to think to bring a can opener.  Others brought lots of canned food:)
14. My first lover taught me Cuban Mambo in the radio station on campus at SUNY Farmingdale, where he was the station manager and I had my own R and B show using vinyl in 1965. (I transferred to NYU after 2 years.)
15. I lived in the 3HO yoga ashrams from 1975-1982 when I was 25-32.  I wore a white turban, white clothes, had a Sikh name and learned to play harmonium and sing devotional songs in Gurumukhi.  I was housemother to 10 adults at times and taught vegetarian cooking and Kundalini Yoga for 7 years. Singh Kaur was a friend of mine in those years and we lived in the same women’s quarters in ashrams in Denver and in New Mexico .  I often played flute during morning chanting while she played her guitar and sang. (In those days she would turn bright red when we asked her to share her ethereal voice.)During those years I also worked in our Golden Temple restaurants, cleaned houses on a power crew and did high ladder tape and paper for my exterior field painter husband on new constuction in the Denver Foothills.
16. I adore and communicate well with other life forms.  I am doing better recently with humans. What annoys me most is inauthentic YES’s that lead to later distress and disease.  Guess I get to look at that in myself …ala “The Dark Side of the Light Chasers”.
17. When I was 25, I hitch-hiked around the East coast for 3 months checking out communes I might want to join.  I have lived in Morehouses for several 3 month cycles several times and lived with Rob and Nicole for 1.5 years in Mill Valley and Brisbane before they started One Taste.
18.  I spent 3 years receiving Shamanic, psychotropic, psychotherapy ala Castenada to address OCD, ADD and other personality disorders associated with Aspergers.
(I paid for my therapy by using my enrollment talents to fill my therapist’s practice.  I have primarily funded my lifetime seminar addiction with enrollment and logistical support.)
19. I had a total hip replacement when I was 55 and celebrated my recovery by going on a 3 Day Vision Quest and then Burningman!
20. I designed and facilitated my own communication/leadership seminar for years entitled, “The Freedom to Ask” from which a colleague named Chinarut created “Dance Labs” and took the essence of this seminar, learning to embody co-creation by living in trans-personal space, to the parks in Thai villages.
21. I have lived an entertaining and fulfilling life on less than $25,000/year my whole life.  I walk around sometimes for a week with no cash or money in the bank but no “story” about being poor.
22. I have promoted thp.org for 25 years and raised 100’s of thousands of dollars as a spokesperson and volunteer.  Was on www.thp.org staff for about 3 months in 1984 when Lynne twist was VP.
23. My first career was as a dental hygienist. (Dad was a dentist.) I cleaned Harry Bellafonte’s teeth several times in an office on Central Park South.
24. I am a lifelong learner and a seminar junkie.  I did the “Silva Mind Control” training and took Scientology courses in the 70’s. I did the est training when Werner Erhard was still living on his Sausalito houseboat around in 1983, did the leadership training and assisted until 1993.   Did “Basic Sense” in 1984 and have done most of the Morehouse courses. Did Train the Trainer with T. Harv and Leverage Your Genius with RejuvenateYourPractice. Received fundraising training from Lynne Twist. Took the 3 Day Next Step with Challenge Day. Am currently in a Teleseminar on “Making Peace with Your Inner Teen” with Dr. Beth Halbert.  Am completing a course with Dana Garrison, TheWealthCode Coach at the same time I am learning about teleseminar marketing strategies with Alex Mandossian.
25. I took a “Model Mugging” street fighting course and can take someone out if they keep coming after me with 3 warnings….as long as they are not pulling a gun or knife.  I am also effective at talking down and managing psychos, speed freaks and other people not playing with a full deck.

Tag, you’re it!

February 4th, 2009

Here I am again, writing to you as I sit at the security/reception desk in the middle of the night.

I am very excited to have performed my first HTML coding!   I wanted to center and BOLD my offer of a FREE REPORT in the margin of this site and simply asked Google how to bold in HTML and then guessed that shrinking the number of pixels would place the text where I wanted it!!

Presto Chango…bada bing!!  I am so easily pleased and entertained:)

I wish I could share my relentless curiosity, enthusiasm, energy and desire to grow with the many tragically bored and bitter souls I see.

Today I wrote a letter to my transformational/evolutionary community of 30 something cultural creatives

to let them know I am coming out with Naomi v6.0 and asking their support in showing up at a

Family Constellations day where I get to be the focus for a few hours!  It was hard on the ego to

list the areas where I have experienced growth and also to ask for support in having a breakthrough in

my sustainable income.  I now have many skills, talents and experience to offer clients, I have many

skills to bring my value to the market.

On February 15th, I will clear whatever subconscious blocks keep me from having

a minimum of $4,000/ month coming in on a regular, reliable basis.

My preferred clients are older people who are recently retired or downsized and who are feeling uncertain about their future and open to re-looking at their career and lifestyle choices.

My background includes a career as a tech recruiter, training in “guerilla marketing” and education and experience as a holistic lifestyle coach.  I was a yogi living in a yoga commuity for 7 years, managed a health food stored and taught vegetarian cooking classes and yoga classes.

From 1999 to 2006 I resurrected myself with many personal growth courses and experiences after being downsized during the tech crash, the death of my Mom and my lover of 15 years, menopause and total hip replacement surgery and now enjoy an active lifestyle at 61 years of age!

I feel inspired to let you know how I most enjoy serving people.

 1. I help people who are frustrated that they can’t get themselves to do what they already know to do to keep themselves healthy and content.  I also offer them education and referrals to professional resources for their health and healing.

2. I help massage therapists identify and serve their preferred customers.  I help them ask their customers what they want, design programs to meet the needs of their market and find simple and attractive words to talk about what they offer.  I often provide client leads and introductions for strategic alliances.

Till soon….

Lessons of the Labyrinth

December 5th, 2008

Lessons of the Labyrinth:

I often walk the labyrinth, outside of Grace Cathedral, on California Street in San Francisco. It seems to somehow do for my brain what the reset button does for my computer when it is stuck :) In fact, I have often commented to myself that the Labyrinth resembles a brain. While I walk, I do my best to breathe deeply and open to receive each moment through my senses 360* and practice gratitude that I am walking easily and all my senses are working well. I often get insights into the apparent paradoxes of living in this level of creation. Here are a few of them.

Lesson #1 Sacred is a human distinction. All of creation is sacred.

At first I was upset with the tourists and others who walk across the Labyrinth without respect for its sacred context and meaning. Then I noticed that the pigeons also had no regard for the Labyrinth’s sacred context and meaning. Why, I wondered was I so hard on people who had as much idea as the pigeons and who are also children of the one creator. I was able then to release my Self-righteousness. Being Self-righteous keeps me from the experience of being loving and being loved.

Thank you pigeons for teaching me all of life is sacred.

Lesson #2 Birth and Death are the great levelers. We ALL enter and exit these same portals. The half way point in the center of the Labyrinth is different for each of us, as we have no way of knowing how long or short our journey will be here. Carpe Deum!

Lesson #3 RUSHING = STRESS = DISTRESS =DIS-EASE
When I rush, I rush towards the end of the Labyrinth = death. It is certain. No need to rush. No need to compare my pace to someone else’s.

Lesson #4 Goals are simply games I have created. I remember to enjoy the process.
I take in and consume the moments on my journey through my 5 senses: touch, smell, taste, hearing and seeing.

#5 Presence = Presents/Gratitude: How many people, plants and other creatures contribute to my moment to moment experience on my journey. All of creation is here
To share presence.(presents). I use my walk to regain mindfulness of each moment with each step.

#6 Balance: I practice opening my gaze and doing cross/crawl and other applied kinesiology or “Brain Gym” exercises while staying on the path to practice awareness of my inner center and the seamless integration of my inner reality with all there is. I remember that I am a multi-dimensional being connected both to the center of the earth and the limitless reaches of the universe and both distinct and indistinguishable from everyone and everything else…depending on which level of reality I am focused on.

#7 Generosity: Stepping aside to let folks and pigeons pass allows me to practice generosity, ease and flow. If they are headed toward me, I can cut a corner or step aside to avoid meeting them and use the metaphor to practice avoiding conflict in my life.

#8 Certainty: If I simply place one foot in front of the other, I will arrive at my final destination. No way to get lost if I mind my own business. Spirit is guiding my steps one breath at a time. I am literally receiving inspiration from respiration.

#9 I receive the wisdom of the Universe and express gratitude and respect for all that is while in the center. Then I go forth from the Labyrinth and give the gifts I have received!

#10 I am free to walk at my own pace in my own style, no matter who is watching.
It is an opportunity to be aware of my fluid body, my fluid posture, gait and feet.

#11 Non - attachment: People enter my life and walk beside me for a while…then go their own way, on their own evolutionary path just as they do here, on the Labyrinth.

#12 Today’s message was that I have a choice to be a Sacred Liver or to be Scared and have a toxic liver by making my system acidic with the stress of BEING a scared/fearful liver. I am motivated by this message to do a liver cleanse. My liver and other “organs” make the music of life. Each “Chakra” literally has a musical note.

#13 Recently there was a story going around about a master concert violinist who decided to contribute his art to the NYC subway during rush hour.  As the story goes, only a couple of adults and few children stopped at all to notice and appreciate his gift.    Today, as I walked the Labyrinth, I reflectd on the gifts of the master artist in all mediums and how I am usually unconscious of the beauty that I am and that surrounds me:)  The cherry blossoms on the walk home were especially exquisite.

Here is a hyperlink to a site that allows you to “walk” the Labyrinth online even while you are in bed: http://www.labyrinthonline.com/chartres.html

61 in San Francisco

November 26th, 2008

It is EARLY morning.   I am on post at  the reception desk of this residential hotel.  The lobby is empty except for one sleepless man and his clicking walker.

Spirit is telling me it is time to be transparent and share the richness of my Senior Single Life in SF with other boomers.         By living out loud, I intend to inspire and motivate other single boomers to get out and enjoy their lives.  These really can be the Golden Years!!  We are self-possessed, wise and if we can still be curious about others and open to whatever is around the corner, life can continue to be an adventure:)

Today was a mix of scenes.

Noon to 2P, I was treated to a white table cloth lunch by a new friend I met at Leo’s birthday party over the weekend.  He is a veteran of the spiritual/personal growth movement and graduate of the advanced courses at www.lafayetteMorehouse.com.  He is going to share some advanced sensual technology with me in exchange for my recruiting skills for his new enterprise:)

Immediately after, I had a gratifying 2nd coaching client call with someone I have never met in person, in another state, who is doing aggressive self-care and rapidly recovering from a long term illness.

3P-5:30P I checked e-mail and returned calls and then

5:30P I had an hour long call with my “TheWealthCodeRevealed” practice group where we shared our accomplishments since the last call, did an NLP process to continue to clear our subconscious of any resistance to receiving wealth, and made our promises for this week.

7P I figured out how to change the DNS on my website so i can transfer my server to Bluehost.com.

I also put my http://tinyurl.com/HowToTurnOn2008 video on my Facebook profile; answered email and caught up on Facebook/LinkedIn updates.

9P I slept until 1:45A

Got ready for work, including doing the “5 Tibetans” exercise series and some “Brain Gym” to wake up:)

Doing my weekly short shift.   (2:30A -5A)

On this shift, I have been figuring out my new online TV program and attempting to watch the last episode of Dancing with the Stars:) , returning email and now starting this blog!

At 4:20A, my relief is starting to circle in like a hawk, as he usually does…  getting his coffee, going outside for some air…

It feels good to start to document and share my days and feel the gratitude for my full and active life!  I am going to allow comments and questions from you, the sacred mirror out there.

I also want to thank the folks at Liddel laboratory for the benefits of their superior homeopathic oral spray:
